Cookie Policy
Last updated: February 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how openG Lab uses cookies and similar technologies on openglasslab.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What We Use
We use local storage (not traditional browser cookies, but similar in purpose) to:
- Consent choice — Remember whether you accepted or declined analytics/tracking (key:
ogl_consent). - Visitor statistics — Only if you chose "Accept": a pseudonymous identifier (key:
ogl_vid) and a flag that you have visited before (key:ogl_visited). This helps us count unique visitors and repeat visits without identifying you personally.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Your Choice
When you first visit the Site, a banner at the bottom of the page asks you to Accept or Decline tracking. If you decline, we do not store the visitor identifier or send visit data. You can change your mind by clearing site data for openglasslab.com in your browser settings; the banner will appear again on your next visit.
3. How to Manage or Delete
You can clear local storage (and thus reset your consent and visitor ID) via your browser:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → View permissions and data stored across sites → find openglasslab.com → Clear data.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → find openglasslab.com → Remove.
- Safari: Develop → Empty Caches, or Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → remove openglasslab.com.
4. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
